The story behind the store

About Heritage Drop

About Heritage Drop

Heritage Drop turns locally rooted stories into pieces people can wear, display, keep, and share. We begin in Chuka and Tharaka Nithi, connect those histories to the wider Pan-African story, and create short visual narratives for audiences at home and across the diaspora.

Our Approach

The story comes first. We listen, research, publish, and learn from the community response. The themes that resonate can become limited merchandise, illustrated prints, local craft collaborations, or useful sourced goods—always connected to the story that inspired them.

Made Deliberately

We favor small releases and pre-orders where possible. This allows Heritage Drop to test ideas honestly, reduce unnecessary inventory, and put attention into the meaning behind each piece.

Community Matters

Heritage is living knowledge. We welcome thoughtful questions, corrections, and suggestions for the stories that should be explored next.
